Ascardi Sans Free Font is a retro display font with a touch of murkiness to it. Inspired by American advertising, Italian posters, logos and signs from the 1960’s until late in the 20th Century. This typeface is designed for headlines, posters, and corporate identities.
The characters were originally hand drawn with a ‘Parallel Pen’.
In an all-caps font including 5 characters featuring dramatic descenders and tails.
This font is suitable for posters, logos, and headlines. It also includes diacritic symbols and graphemes that support most European languages.
Ascardi was conceived as a timeless font, suited for a brand that combines tradition and dynamism. I love the twist that it would have given a retro Jaguar logo.
