From a more attentive look in urban landscape, it is possible to observe the variety and richness of popular expressions. These variety and richness are increasingly becoming visual references for the practice of project activities in design.
The present project is based on the urban vernacular typography, which is a popular expression characterized as an alternative and spontaneous communication instrument produced by manual techniques in order to obtain letters, which fill the landscape of the major urban centers.
The entire typographical process of Ofissina was developed for an end course subject: Graphic Design Project, in the Graphic Design technology course from Centro Universitário Estácio do Ceará under the supervision of Humberto Alves de Araújo.
Ofissina Free Font is a typography inspired in Brazilian popular lettering. Sans serif. Geometric. Uppercase. Regular weight. Completely free. It is ideal for titles and small texts, from size 27 on.
