Bona Nova Free Font Family is a digitization project of Bona typeface designed in 1971 by Andrzej Heidrich, the creator of Polish banknotes. The concept of font enhancement was to extend the character set as well as the alternatives and features for the OpenType font. Together with the author of the original font, he created two new versions – Regular and Bold.
